Lighthouse Program: Eligibility Alternative

Personal In-Home Services for Seniors in Mason County, WV

Mason County Action Group understands that as people age and transition through various degrees of health and well-being they may need more help and support. Our Lighthouse Program provides personal in-home care, mobility, nutrition, and light housekeeping services for seniors who do not qualify for other programs. If you, a loved one, or family member is in need of support in this capacity, our dedicated team of caring individuals is standing by ready to help.

Bathing, Grooming, Errands, and Meal Preparation for Seniors

This service is designed to truly take the burden off of family members providing care, as well as the senior in need of care, as it offers solutions, impeccable care, and a range of valuable support in a wide variety of ways. Through this program, your loved one receives help with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene, as well as nutritional support through the preparation of hot, well-balanced meals. In addition, your loved one will receive supportive assistance for light housekeeping tasks, and running of errands if needed.

Seniors Remain Independent at Home With Our Lighthouse Program

Lighthouse Program Eligibility

To participate in the Lighthouse Program an individual must be 60 years of age or better. Individuals must also be medically eligible based on an evaluation from our nurse. This state program requires that program participants pay a fee for services that are determined using the current state cost share fee schedule.
